RMU typically knows when power is out, but they do not have real-time
monitoring of every meter. If you are unsure if they are aware of the outage, text
or call 1-866-733-1701.
Most likely, the transformer that provides your service is different, or the
service is damaged and needs to be repaired.
No, the customer or property owner is required to make repairs to the service
line to their house. If disconnected because repairs are required, an inspection
must be completed by the City prior to RMU re-energizing the service.
